TOTALLYEDDIECTED.NET finally launched!

Monday, January 18, 2010

On January 15, 2010 - Eddie's birthday - I officially launched The Eddie Cahill Fansite TOTALLYEDDIECTED.NET. I'm very happy how it has turned out, and that I achieved a visitors number of 139 on the first day. Since then, I'm promoting like crazy, because I want visitors to come back, and spread the word about it. I really adore Eddie, so I don't see it as a waste of time. On the contrary, I love what I am doing! I feel like I finally found something I'm really good at, that's why I enjoy to spend an insanely amount of time on the site. Of course, I'm also hoping to improve my skills, so I can make a profession out of it.

Some of you might still remember my first fansite dedicated to Chester Bennington, "Chestington." I was very dedicated, and that's the only reason why it became successful in a very short time. Now you triple this dedication, and you should get an idea of how I feel about the Eddie Cahill fansite ;). Besides this fansite, I'm about to launch another one that is dedicated to Brad Delson of Linkin Park. I grew up with music, it has always been a part of me, so I feel like I just need a musical fansite as well. I do think Brad Delson is a very interesting person and talented musician, and that's why I make this fansite. I could never run a fansite for someone who doesn't seem to be a good and decent person. And once I launched the second fansite, another one is in progress ;). Yeah, I'm crazy HAHA. It just bothers me not to see any great and updated fansites about people I adore, so I have to take care of this obviously. Some people really deserve to have a well-managed fansite dedicated to them, because they are special and very talented!

I'm pretty much behind with everything right now, and I know some of you still get an email from me. I also haven't made it to visit any other blogs in the last few days, but I hope you can understand. For some of you, it might just be a hobby to run a fansite, but for me it is more than that. It is something I wanna do for a living, something I'm extremely passionate about and I do believe I'm good at it. I don't make any money out of it yet, but I still believe the time is more than well spent anyway.

Public Enemies

UPDATE January 09, 2010

I have seen the movie three times now, and the more I watch it the more I fall for Johnny Depp as John Dillinger :). I guess you can tell that you are really into him & the movie if you buy the same DVD twice just because you forgot to buy the 2-disc special edition in the first place. I purchased it today, and it came with a great booklet full of pictures & interesting info. I love watching behind the scenes material, and since the special edition comes with a lot more exclusives I think the money was well spent.

I normally don't make any blog posts about movies I watched, but I think it's pretty obvious what impact "Public Enemies" starring Johnny Depp had on me! But let's start with the beginning. A week ago, I ordered several DVDs (Titanic, The Aviator, Public Enemies, Fight Club & Ocean's 11, 12 + 13) at my most favorite online store Amazon.com. The package arrived yesterday, and I decided to start with the latest movie "Public Enemies." Before I purchased it, I watched the trailer to make sure it is a movie that catches my attention from the very beginning. Most of you probably don't know that I have been a Johnny Depp admirer since the TV show "21 Jumpstreet" in 1988. For me, he is one of the most talented actors ever, and even off screen he seems like one of the coolest and humblest guys. That makes me love him even more! Anyway, back to the movie itself.

From the first second on, Johnny Depp was in his character, he totally owned me and I couldn't stop feeling fascinated. There are no words to describe his incredibly amazing performance as the famous bank robber John Dillinger. Johnny was perfect for this role, and made me fall madly in love with his charming character. It was also the first movie that captivated me in so many mysterious ways, that I even dreamed about it right after.

Below I posted some high quality photos of Johnny Depp as John Dillinger. Just in case someone else loved the movie as much as I did :). I'm off now to watch the movie for the second time, and to get lost in Johnny's expressive eyes all over again.

New Layout & Happy New Year

Thursday, December 31, 2009

First of all, I want to wish my regular blog visitors & people I dearly appreciate and who I got to know better over the internet (Miss Julie, Sylvie, Illara and ChesterDean) a happy new year 2010. I don't have any new year's resolutions just because I personally think you don't need a new year to change something in your life. Anyways, my hubby and I didn't do anything spectacular, but stayed home and had a yummy pizza. It also snowed again, so I really didn't feel like going outside just to watch some fireworks I have already seen on July 04th celebration LOL.

And as you can see, I changed my layout again. I got very tired of using premade layouts, so I modified one myself. I think it looks very neat, I simply can't get enough of the color blue, and yes I'm in love with the header :). I thought it was about time to dedicate a header to my most favorite actor ever. I have been loving and adoring Leo since 1997, and I believe he's one of the most brilliant actors out there. I hope you guys enjoy the layout as much as I do.

It is always great to see people from all over the world stop by on my blog. May the new year bring everything you wish for, and most importantly, may you stay healthy, satisfied and happy in your life.

Below a quote from my favorite TV show CSI: NY. I think it's the perfect saying to end this year with, and to remind people that being rich doesn't fulfill you but doing good!

Detective Mac Taylor: You chose people who were vulnerable and broken. People you knew had nobody to question your motives. What's it like to live without a conscience?

Grace Chandler: It's like being rich. Something you probably know nothing about.

Detective Mac Taylor: Putting people like you away for the rest of your life, doing good... that makes me rich. Something you probably know nothing about.

Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas to me :)

Do I believe in Santa!? Well, if Santa looks like that, hell yeah I do! Just waiting for Santa Eddie to come down the chimney to deliver himself to me LOL. Christmas doesn't get better than that, believe me ;).

Let the web design begin...

Tuesday, December 22, 2009

Thanks to my hubby's Christmas bonus, we were able to spoil ourselves with two large HP flat screens (25", Resolution 1920x1080, HP Power Sound and Full HD 1080p) and the brand new operating system Windows 7. I still have to get used to my fancy looking flat screen, because I'm not really updated when it comes to latest technology. Anyway, I'm most excited about the fact that I can do AMAZING screen caps now :). For a short moment, I was out of breath when I watched a HD CSI: NY episode, and saw Eddie not only in super large size but also amazingly clear. I'm sure it isn't hard to imagine how I smiled from one ear to another LOL. And doing web design on such an advanced flat screen is even more fun than I ever thought it would be.
